Stepping through a call to a server

app.js, running in the browser, and UsersController.cs (a .NET controller running on a different computer) sit side by side. Pick a scenario at the top, then press Next in the bar above the code to run one line at a time and watch the request travel between the two programs, each waiting for the other at its own pace. While a request is in flight the two programs are busy at the same time, and then two lines light up, one in each file. Panels 2 and 3 below the code explain the line you are on and show the traffic on the wire; panel 4 at the bottom shows what ends up on the page.
